AT&T All-Stars Tournament is underway. Everyone is trying to get his hands on the 7K money price, the premium gold pack and the ball! All players are running for the market trying to buy the best MLS players to build up the squad for the tournament at the best prices. Have you noticed that all of them are really expensive? Even the broze ones?
 
Now, follow me on this for a while. MLS players on FUT have been ( obvious exceptions for David Beckham, Thierry  henry or some other big name) all of them have been very underrated in price terms. That is, they have been very cheap -except for now! Have you already participated in this tournament? Didn’t win? Too bad. Won? Great! Now, do you want to make some money? Sell all your MLS players NOW. This tournament will be ending soon and cheap MLS players will soon be cheap again,. So, now is the best time to sell them. Note the theses player are usually the cheapest comparing with other leagues,. Except for now.

FIFA ULTIMATE TEAM NEWS: IT´S BEEN A CRAZY WEEK!

Spanish player Chilo_ antonio finished, last Friday, one of his busiest weeks as he won the New New FUT Bronze Cup; the Silver Cup and the Gold Cup. At the same time, he managed to win the First Division Seasons Championship without a single defeat.

chilo_antonio is now at nr 16 of the FUT Top Squad Builder Weekly Chart.

This year, the Passover seemed to bring some serious changes to the FUT Top Squad Builders Top 20.

Its king, until now, the American ARVIAL44, was dethroned by Shaych7 (where did he came from?)

In the second position used to be Tjclark, but he stumbled down to number 6. Now the British player BJ122468 is in second place.

MoReToNx also had to leave the 3rd position that now belongs to (guess who): Spanish CHILO_antonio, climbing rapidly from the 19th position to the FUT Top Builders TOP3!

FIFA ULTIMATE TEAM TIPS

 

Yesterday, we talked about your FUT defense line.

Today, we are still talking about it (often, a good defense means victory).

Imagine you’re creating a new Ultimate Team. When it comes to picking your CB’s for the team, it’s easy to follow the criteria it´s believed to be normally used: the fastest ones. In fact that’s still a good criteria, and a very important one. But the defense it’s a very sensitive part of your strategy.

If your strikers can fail many times (and that’s a good sign, for it means your attacking your opponent), when it comes to the CB’s (or keeper), when they fail, even if once, it’s the end of the line for your match!

So, consider not only speed but also defense ability and -very important too- the head factor. Many goals are scored in the air when the striker wins the ball over the CB.

Here’s the tip: choose a pair of CB’s in which you have a fast one and/ or a good one in the air disputes. If you use 3 you can follow this tip too.

The fast one will run to the save the goal if needed, or to disarm your opponent on the run and the other one will protect you from the “air strikes”.

It’s impossible to say which is the best CB, because they (2 or 3) have to work in team.

For example: in the BPL ( British Premiere League) Vermaalen is very good anticipating, but a bit slow. David Luiz is very fast, but a bit weak. Combining wisely might be the key.

ULTIMATE TEAM TIPS

 

Today we are still on the back line of the team: the defense.
On last article we talked about our CB’s , how pace (or speed) was very important but not essential, for they are not allowed to miss, like the strikers, for example.

Let’s look at our RB and LB, now –if you use any.
If you use a 4-4-2; 4-1-2-1-2; 4-2-3-1 or any other formation with 4 defenders, you will know what I’m talking about.

A good RB or LB requires a good defending skill, but PACE is mandatory. This is the position where its player is supposed run all that lateral strip of the pitch. It’s where its player is supposed to keep up with your opponent’s attackers. It’s where its player is supposed to collaborate with your offensive movements and get to cross to the box, if needed. He has to do all this without getting behind once. And for all that, when it comes to the substitutions, replacing this player with a fresh one is normally a wise decision.

A slow RB or LB will very likely to be bad choice for your Ultimate Team.

The world top 19 player CHILO_ANTONIO, from Spain, won another GOLD CUP this week.
Playing with his usual 4-5-1 scheme, he defeated NIEMINENX by a 3-1 score.
CHILO_ANTONIO is at the 19th position of the Worlds Top Squad Builders with a 193 points rate.
ARVIAL44, which stands in the number one of that same chart, also has 193 points.

Teams with 3 CBs have done some damage in their opponents recently. Formations like 3-5-2 or 3-4-1-2 are normally hard teams to come across. They defend very well ( 3 CBS) and seem to have more players than you in the midfield.
Here are some tips you can you when it comes to face these kind of teams:
Play laterally. This means, try to keep the ball in their own defence but in the wings. That’s their weak spot. Remember: they only have 3 players in the back whereas other teams ( playing in 4-4-2 or 4-1-2-1-2) have for.
Avoy to play in the center of the pitch. In fact, that’s where these teams have more players.
